COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROJECT MANAGER

Big Sky Economic Development (BSED) is seeking a skilled, organized, and community-minded Community Development Project Manager to join our Community Development team. This role leads and coordinates projects that support economic vitality, infrastructure, redevelopment, and quality of life throughout Yellowstone County.

The Community Development Project Manager plays a key role in moving community initiatives from concept to completion—working with local governments, nonprofits, funders, consultants, and community partners to ensure successful outcomes.

MT APEX GOVERNMENT ADVISOR

Are you passionate about helping Montana businesses grow, compete, and succeed? Do you enjoy consulting, problem-solving, and translating complex rules into practical guidance? Are you energized by working directly with business owners and decision-makers?

Big Sky Economic Development (BSED) is seeking a knowledgeable, client-focused MT APEX Advisor to join our team. This position provides one-on-one advising, training, and technical assistance to businesses interested in selling goods and services to federal, state, and local government agencies.

MT APEX Advisors help businesses understand the opportunities, requirements, and processes involved in government contracting—and guide them through this highly specialized marketplace.

Medical and Dental Insurance

BSED’s healthcare offerings include the choice between Traditional and High-Deductible health plans, covering a wide range of medical services and prescriptions. Employees will also have access to in-network dental providers.

Life Insurance and Disability

All eligible employees receive employer-paid life insurance and AD&D coverage to help protect our professionals and their families form the financial impact of unforeseen circumstances.

Health Savings Account

Participants in BSED’s High Deductible Health Plan are eligible to establish a Health Savings Account (HSA). HSA contributions provide an opportunity to build a personal fund to pay for current and future qualifying healthcare expenses – completely tax-free.

Public Employees Retirement System (PERS)

As a BSED Employee, you’ll participate in a retirement plan sponsored by the Montana Public Employees Administration. Employees can elect one of the PERS offered plans, either the Defined Benefit or Defined Contribution plan.

Paid Leave and Holidays

Paid Leave encompasses traditional paid vacation along with paid sick-leave; days vary based on tenure. We provide 11 paid holidays in addition to the PTO offered.
