BIG SKY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT ANNOUNCES INTERIM EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Billings, MT – Big Sky Economic Development (BSED) has appointed Brandon Berger as Interim Executive Director, effective October 20, 2025. This appointment follows the recent resignation of Paul Green, whose last day with the organization will be October 17, 2025.

Brandon currently serves as Senior Director of Business Lending and Development and has been with BSED for 20 years. He brings extensive leadership experience, deep organizational knowledge, and a strong commitment to BSED’s mission and values. In his interim role, Brandon will provide steady leadership and work closely with the Senior Directors, staff, and board to ensure continuity of services and continued progress toward sustaining and growing our region’s economy and quality of life.

“Brandon’s 20 years of dedication and leadership have been invaluable, and we’re confident his experience will ensure a smooth transition in this role and as we move forward”, said the BSED Board of Directors Executive Committee.

BSED is committed to a smooth transition and will begin discussions around a permanent leadership plan in the months ahead. In the meantime, the organization will continue delivering programs and services that support business creation, expansion, retention, recruitment, and community development. BSED will be moving forward with a new search committee and process in the coming weeks, and more information will be forthcoming in the coming weeks.
