We asked Wade to answer a few questions to help us get to know him better.
What inspired you to start your own business and what was your biggest challenge? I’ve always wanted to have my own business, though I thought it would come later in my career. My experiences with various digital media in college as well as internships in New York/Indiana/Billings inspired me to start my own business, rather than work for another company. My biggest challenge starting a business is what I think is still my biggest challenge: discovering all the things I didn’t know I didn’t know. It’s fairly easy to learn once I find out WHAT I need to know, but finding out what that is seems to be the tricky part!
What are some of the most important skills you’ve developed as a business owner? Treating every failure/challenge as a learning opportunity.
What is your best advice for someone starting a new business? It’s ok that you don’t know everything. If you have the right attitude, you’re getting paid to learn along the way, which is pretty cool.
What is most important to you about your business? Every project I am a part of should be treated as a win for everyone. A great project makes the client happy because it’s accomplishing their goals, I’m happy because I am paid to do what I love and makes art/digital media in Billings better!
