2020 BillingsWorks State of the Workforce Report Video
BillingsWorks is proud to have completed its fifth State of the Workforce Report as a tool for the community’s use in making strategic decisions about our local workforce and economy.
The BillingsWorks Workforce Council would like to thank the many organizations and individuals that contributed to the development of this State of the Workforce Report. Hundreds of stakeholders from business and industry, education, economic development, workforce development, and community-based organizations participated in surveys and ongoing conversations to provide firsthand feedback for this document. Many partners provided data to round out this report, including Billings School District 2, MSU Billings and City College, Rocky Mountain College, the Montana University System, the Montana Chamber, and the Montana Department of Labor and Industry. In addition, throughout the year, the BillingsWorks Steering Committee, Workforce Council, and community stakeholders provided leadership, vision, and important input to ensure progress toward our programmatic strategic goals. This project was funded by Big Sky Economic Development and the BillingsWorks MOU partners. It was carried out by BillingsWorks and the Big Sky Development Team.
We hope you find this report helpful as you continue your engagement with the Yellowstone County community. We hope you use it as you plan your business model, you update and create education/training program(s), you invest in talent retention and recruitment efforts or you simply learn more about the economic makeup of this fantastic county.
