Starting today, you can become a stronger champion for economic development. How so?
The International Economic Development Council (IEDC) with generous support from the U.S. Economic Development Administration (EDA), is offering Economic Development for Local Leaders, a two-day course that focuses on introducing community leaders to the system and best practices of economic development.
With special thanks to our local hosts, the Big Sky Economic Development and the State of Montana Office of Tourism and Business Development under the Department of Commerce, the training will take place in Billings, Montana at The DoubleTree on September 27 and 28, 2017.
This is a chance to network with other local and regional leaders and to understand more about how you can be most effective in supporting local economic development. The course is especially useful for leadership of small and rural communities, and provides inspiring examples from communities like yours. There is a nominal fee of $39 to participate in this interactive program which will include lunch on both days. The course runs from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on each day.
