COMMUNITY RAFFLE TO SUPPORT COULSON PARK PUMP TRACK AND FIVE OTHER LOCAL PROJECTS

Big Sky Economic Development (BSED) is excited to be leading the charge to develop Coulson Park as a gateway park on the bank of the Yellowstone River. BSED and community leaders joined forces with Partners For Parks (PFP) Foundation in selling raffle tickets to raise funds for six local projects in our public parks including a pump track at Coulson Park.

The raffle is part of a broader effort to boost recreational facilities and community spaces in the area. BSED is proud to join forces with Pedal United and Billings Parks in this venture. Pedal United is dedicating significant volunteer hours to ensure the successful design and development of the Coulson Park Pump Track, contributing their expertise and passion to this valuable project.

The raffle supporting parks features six amazing prizes including 1) Cat/Griz weekend with 2 box seats, lodging, and a visa card for spending money; 2)Raiders/Broncos weekend in Las Vegas with game tickets, lodging, airline voucher, and spending money; 3) A three night, two day guided fly fishing package at Montana Fly Fishing Lodge; 4) Gas for a Year, gift card; 5) Family membership to Granite Fitness; 6) Side of beef from J2Bar Land & Livestock. Tickets are $50 and only 2,000 tickets will be available! Don’t miss your opportunity to support our local parks and take a chance on winning great weekend getaways and fabulous prizes. Drawing will be held at the Mayor’s Luncheon on September 19th!

With only 2,000 tickets available, each purchase not only offers a chance to win one of these fantastic prizes but also directly supports six significant park projects. These include the Coulson Park Pump Track, wind breaks at High Sierra Dog Park, a memorial at Dehler Park for U.S. service members, a playground and splash pad at Poly Vista Park, improvements to the softball field at South Park, and new shade shelters at the Oasis Park.

To purchase raffle tickets please call Big Sky Economic Development, 869-8409, or email dianne@bigskyeda.org.

Partners For Parks is thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for the Billings community to support local parks and recreational projects through its inaugural raffle. The funds raised from ticket sales will be directed towards the six projects, one of which is the Bike Pump Track at Coulson Park and five other community-driven projects including installing wind breaks at High Sierra Dog Park, a memorial at Dehler Park for U.S. service members killed in the line of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan, a playground and splash pad at Poly Vista Park, improving the softball field at South Park, field improvements at Hansen Park in Worden, and new shade shelters at the Oasis Park.

The raffle aims to fund six remarkable parks and recreation projects through tickets sales. Funds from the 2,000 tickets sold will have a significant impact on our parks, which promises to enhance recreational opportunities for all ages. This grassroots initiative underscores the importance of community-driven efforts in creating vibrant, healthy living spaces.

BSED’s mission is to sustain and grow Yellowstone County’s vibrant economy and outstanding quality of life, by providing leadership and resources for business creation, expansion, retention, new business recruitment and community development. One of BSED’s Community Development Team’s focuses is qualify of place projects which are important in attracting and retaining our workforce talent and growing our communities in Yellowstone County. Community development is more crucial than ever, as over 65% of people choose where to live based on access to outdoor recreation, parks, and cultural activities. The Partners for Parks Raffle supports this vision by investing directly in our local parks and recreational spaces.
