What town do you now call home?

Wise River, MT

Where did you grow up?

I grew up in Dillon, MT on a cattle ranch, and I loved growing up the way I did! This led me to be able to ride horses and rodeo while I was growing up. It was some of the best times of my life.

Career background before joining the BSED team?

Prior to working for BSED I worked for Headwaters in Butte as a loan admin. And, before that the Montana Youth Challenge Academy in Dillon as the financial manager.

What is something most people don’t know about you?

I like to spend as much time as possible outside with my boyfriend and our kids doing the things we love hiking, fishing, skiing, riding horses and golfing.

What’s your favorite snack?

Pistachios.

What was your first job?

My first job was working for the City of Dillon for their Parks and Recreation Program. I would mow and weed eat all the city parks and then was an instructor for the kids in the recreation program.

How do you prefer to start your day?

With coffee!!! I am a night owl, so I need a reason to get up and get going.

What led you to this career field?

When I worked for the Montana Youth Challenge Academy, I managed several state contracts and the procurement department. I was always interested in that part of my position, and it gave me my background in contracting on the state level. When I worked for Headwaters in the loan department the position for PTAC came open. It seemed like a much better fit for me. I took the position and haven’t looked back. I enjoy helping people and as a contract advisor I can do that on a daily basis.
