Sheep’s Clothing, LLC is a licensed and bonded process service provider. Crystal also provides mobile notary services. Their goal is to serve legal documents for legal professionals and the public in an efficient and professional manner.
We asked Crystal to answer a few questions to help us get to know her better.
What inspired you to start your own business and what was your biggest challenge?
The thought of a challenge in which I could learn and grow at my own speed was very appealing. Karl Rude inspired and encouraged me to explore entrepreneurship as well. My greatest challenge in this endeavor has been marketing and learning how to grow my client base.
What are some of the most important skills you’ve developed as a business owner?
Some of the skills I am grateful for having learned through this process are the ability to be resourceful to grow as a professional. In addition to the perspective that you can grow into a business owner, your background does not determine your future success.
What is your best advice for someone starting a new business?
I would encourage any new business owner to ask a lot of questions, even in venues that may not seem they can serve your proposed business. It has been in a plethora of unexpected situations where I have picked up golden nuggets of knowledge that have served me later in my work.
What is most important to you about your business?
I find it most important to maintain my continued education, in order to maintain an ethical business that continues to serve its intended purpose. I think as business owners, it is common to fall into a pattern of comfort and risk the chance of missing opportunities to grow or serve more people in a deeper or dual capacity.
