What inspired you to start your own business and what was your biggest challenge? My wife inspired me to start my business. She had a successful photography business and I assisted her and was inspired to start a video production company to complement what she was doing.
What are some of the most important skills you’ve developed as a business owner? Learning effective communication has been highly valuable. The skills I have learned help me to understand my clients well and how I can best serve them.
What is your best advice for someone starting a new business? Don’t be afraid to fail because failure is a part of success. Don’t be afraid to ask questions because questions are essential to learning. Spend time discovering your strengths and weaknesses, lean into your strengths and outsource your weakness.
What is most important to you about your business? Integrity. My goal is to leave any environment I enter better than when I found it and that includes with those who hire me as well as those who I work next to.
Is there anything else you would like to mention about your business? I work with businesses and nonprofits, big and small, and love learning how I can help people reach their goals.
