November 3rd – 7th marks National Veteran Small Business Week for 2025. The Big Sky Veteran Business Outreach Center will be out and about covering the three-state region, representing Montana’s support for our veterans. Starting on Monday, our VBOC Director, Rick Brown, will travel to FE Warren AFB, Cheyenne, Wyoming. While teaching veteran entrepreneurs for 2 days he will take time to participate in a panel discussion hosted by the Veteran Social Organization which holds a National Veteran Summit each year. Closing off his time in Wyoming, he will continue to St. George, Utah on the last two days of the week for the Utah Veteran UNITE Conference for veteran business owners.
At the same time Rick is traveling, Justin Rigby, our VBOC Project Manager, will participate in a separate veteran business panel discussion on Wednesday, November 05. He will then hit the road in Montana and travel to Helena for the Veteran Resource and Career Fair Hosted by the State Human Resources Division at the HAFRC Auditorium & Drill Floor on Thursday. Friday finds Justin in Helena at the Vet2Vet Networking Event Hosted by Annie’s Tap House.
