There are two helpful grants still available for business owners! The Business Adaptability grant and Workforce Recovery Grant. These grants have upcoming deadlines to apply and they operate on a first come first serve basis. Don’t wait to apply if you think you qualify for these grants!
The Business Adaptability Grant was created in response to the costs businesses and nonprofits in Montana incurred to adapt to the new business environment caused by the novel coronavirus pandemic. The program will provide reimbursement for COVID-19 expenses related to keeping staff and customers safe- from the purchase of personal protective equipment to resources needed for staff to work remotely. The Workforce Recovery Grant program is designed to support Montana Businesses that had to lay-off employees and/or reduce the hours of the employee to part-time statues due to the economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Workforce Recovery Program will reimburse a business for the wages of full-time, permanent jobs that are created and retained for at least six-months, up to a maximum of 25 jobs per business.
