What town do you now call home?

Billings has been my home my entire life (aside from 6 months living in the Seattle area).

Where did you grow up?

I was born and raised in Billings. I was lucky to be in the first graduating class to attend all four years at the “new” Skyview High School.

Career background before joining the BSED team?

I have over 14 years experience working in public accounting performing audits of non-profit and for profit companies and governmental entities. I moved on from public accounting and spent the last three years working for a local nonprofit agency who was one of my former audit clients.

What is something most people don’t know about you?

I love food… I mean, really love food. My dream is to begin choosing vacation destinations simply based on whatever food I have seen or heard about that warrants personal taste-testing by my husband and me.

What’s your favorite snack?

Popcorn! The answer will always, always, always be popcorn! Hot and fresh with melted butter and just the right amount of salt.

What was your first job?

In high school I was a pizza delivery driver for Dominos.

How do you prefer to start your day?

I start my day with a yummy cup of coffee that my husband makes for me before he leaves for work. I sip it while I get ready and it gives me the burst of energy I need to take care of my pet chores so that they are happy and content while I’m away at work.

What led you to this career field?

I always enjoyed accounting in high school.  Crazy as it sounds, it was always fun for me. As I grew into the career, I realized I like the puzzle of putting together financial statements.
